Amaya and Hikaru's mother, back when she was a warrior errant before she inherited the budakatana Seiran.. and before she met their father. Hikaru inherited his eyes and hair from his mother.
I think the sigil on the blade of her weapon is important (possibly related to an order of warriors who were not in service to the gods, unlike the warrior-priests), but I'm not sure yet. Random note: when Seiran is given to a new owner, said owner changes the wrappings and decorations on the sword. Four of the beads on her boots found their way to Seiran's tassels when she inherited the blade.
She needs a name, preferably something Japanese. Suggestions?
