More battles, more confusing dreams, more deaths. We're maybe a third through the quest, moving out of the streets and areas I know. West, always west are their little retreats. Into the setting sun, if it were ever anything but night here. There's probably some plot-related reason for that, most likely invented after some programmer didn't meet a deadline to get the skybox coordinated with the internal game clock. so i wanted to post this after i uploaded my finished piece, but i can't upload things at this moment for, um, reasons. but i'm bored and wanted to post something.

her name is mette. mette has an eyepatch now. it was necessary. her eye is fine; she just wears one to look like a badass because she's naturally petite and a sweetheart, and is utterly incapable of being intimidating. i imagine the following exchange:

"i mean, look at me. how could anyone take me seriously?"
"um... the freaking huge scythe?"
"...oh."

now she needs a friend with whom to have the exchange. hmmm...
