because, you know, "mad scientist" is such an outmoded term.. ;P

i was getting tired of that other webcam shot. so i made a new one.

and that's not an emu... that's a REEMU. which stands for "Really Evil Emu", an artificially intelligent emu that mad-science!ash makes in Book of Root. yes, it's a recursive acronym. we mad scientists love those things.

there's actually a script i have for it. the teacher for Mad Biology 101 talks about how it's much more difficult to find proper human henchmen, what with guild regulations, and all the paperwork that has to be filled out; and it's better to instead start off your minions with animals. then she calls on a few people, asking what they'd choose.

one of dom's misbegotten characters will say "squirrels", because there's apparently a long plot arc with him and squirrels. a character i will borrow from "narbonic" (which you should read; it's awesome) will say guinea pigs.. and then i'll get called on, have no idea, and suddenly blurt out "EMUS."

i have no idea why. :XD: but then later mad-science!ash's secret base is all staffed with the REEMUs. and since i just discovered i can kinda draw them, i'm not as worried about it, lol. ^^;

its eyes follow you. like a painting in a haunted house. :XD:

..though i still am terrible at horses. which is kindof a bad thing, considering the clockwork horse i still need to properly design. ^^;
