lineart from [link] . tiarana (the pirate) and katsu (the ninja). i adore them together. so even though it became blatantly obvious after inking this that i had no idea what i was doing with anatomy whatsoever, i will submit this. because they rock.

they meet in their twenties, while gabrielle norris is still the praetor of ioq, and when both are freshly raised to their respective leadership positions-- katsu is raised because all the other priests have heard the new high admiral is extremely bloodthirsty, and don't want to "waste" a more experienced priest when it's obvious the admiral will kill him within the month. this doesn't happen. obviously. although there is an attempt on his life (in which he loses his eye), tiarana actually saves him. i think i want to write about them-- before i write about them in "the praetor of ioq". not sure if there will be the cult tied in, or not.

there was a secret opal-zoramerin non-aggression pact that they were quite close to making non-secret. but that didn't quite pan out. in fact, after the shifter debacle, the non-aggression pact was forgotten, and only became an unwritten, uneasy half-truce between the temples and the zoramerin.

One suggestion: make the guy's hands bigger. Otherwise, they're a little... non-guy-like ^^;

you know what's a fun way to do that? pick a hot actor or something, get pics off the internets, and render them in anime style. or... any style, really. the more excuse to look at hot guys the better.
